Pontification, Prosthelytizing, or Trouble-Making?

I started a discussion concerning the clones at RPG.net. The thread is here. Somehow I thought putting that over there would bear more fruitful (or enlightening, or amusing, or something) discussion than sounding off within the echo chamber.

  1. I gave up all hope of anything fruitful or enlightening emerging from that toilet a long time ago. I guess you have a shot at amusing, though, provided you're the kind of guy who can laugh at a good traffic accident.

  2. Rpg.net is great site if you want to discuss gaming but I don't know if I have anything to say about publishing business your post is about, I just play these games.

This is like starting a conversation with "I started to put a pinecone up my butt." WHY WHY WHY

  4. Good comments there, Jim. I'm reminded of the fact that D&D became popular through the circulation of thousands of xeroxed copies of the little brown books. Keeping pdf.s of the clones free is an important part of getting these games into play.
